Anisha International : Company Set up:
Anisha International was set up in 1998 in Nantwich, Cheshire in the UK. The company was initially a trading company for perfumery component sourcing and supply. Chetan Bhakta, with 20 years of perfume industry experience at that point, set up Anisha International.
Company Transfer to Dubai, UAE in 2004:
In 2004 the Anisha International moved to Dubai, UAE in order to make it easier to handle the clients in the Middle East and Africa. Dubai made sense due to time zone differences between the UK and China. At that time we were sourcing a lot of the packaging in China.
Addition of design services in 2006
Many of our clients were struggling to create their own brands and asked us to add brand creation services. For this reason we hired packaging design experts and catered to the new client needs. Our new services made the process of new brand development much easier for our clients.
Transfer of Anisha International to DMCC Free Zone in 2008
Anisha International transferred to the DMCC Free zone in 2008, as we were running out of space in Bur Dubai. We wanted to relocate to an area where we could grow more efficiently. DMCC free zone was close to the Dubai metro station, thus making it easier for staff to get to work.
Engineering design services in 2010
After a few years we realised that our clients needed further skills in product modelling and technical product design. Sometimes our clients didn’t want to use standard perfume bottle sets, as they needed to create their own exclusive products.
Without these skills it is necessary to rely on the skills of suppliers and accept to manufacture products in the way that they suggest. Our new product design service model allowed us to take back the control and solve product engineering problems in house. We invested in engineering software and purchased 3D printing machines. This allowed us to revise repeatedly and iterate until we achieve a perfect product experience.
Addition of Fragrance oils to Anisha International services
Chetan Bhakta worked in major fragrance oil companies for 20 years before setting up Anisha International and we can say that this is his ‘first love’. For that reason, we added fragrance oil services to Anisha International’s services in 2022. We work with high quality European suppliers to ensure that our clients now have access to the highest quality perfumes for their products.
Relocation of Anisha International to DWC Free Zone in 2024
In 2024 Anisha International moved to the airport free zone in Dubai World South airport zone. This has enabled us to take much larger office space to assist the company growth. Dubai World Central will be a very important business area in the future, due to its close proximity to the world’s largest airport.
